SOPEX, a Belgian consulting and management company has been founded in 1946.

Our main objective is to actively participate to the development and the strengthening of economic and social activities.

Agriculture (including crops, livestock, forestry and fisheries), food industry and the improvement of living conditions in rural and urban areas are the main part of our interventions.

We are working worldwide, in Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, in Asia and in Latin America. Our clients are among the well known funding agencies (World Bank, European Commission, African Development Bank,...) and private clients.

SOPEX's philosophy is to offer a service of quality which is fully adapted to the specific needs of the clients and the beneficiaries. In order to achieve this, the company relies on a wide experience and a qualified international and local staff.

SOPEX belongs to the SOPEX Group active in the sector of commodities trading (sugar, coffee, rice,...) (turnover 290,000,000 EUR), with offices in London, Sao Paulo, Ho Chi Minh, New Delhi, Accra.
