Mapping and inventory of 7 animal and vegetable production farms in Angola

The objective of this mission was to map, inventory and valorize the assets of 7 farms spread throughout the Angolan territory. The total area of these farms represents more than 76,000 ha. The main crops are corn and rice. They also have livestock and agricultural processing activities. The mission took place in 4 phases:

• Geographic Information System, Spatial Cartography.
• Field mission and validation of the hypotheses of the spatial mapping.
• Field mission with inventory and evaluation of assets.
• Report and restitution.

Feasibility study of an integrated sugar complex in the former Kasai province of the Democratic Republic of Congo

The objective of this study is to allow the client to verify the complete technical, commercial and financial feasibility of the project. It consists in developing an agro-industrial complex producing +/- 60.000 tons of raw sugar, alcohol from molasses and energy from bagasse. The client will be able to confirm the viability of the project and benefit from a support for the decision making regarding its development or not.

Due diligence of a sugar complex (organic sugar) in Mozambique

SOPEX CONSULTING carried out a global evaluation of the project for its technical, organizational, commercial and financial feasibility. It consists of :

• Organic cultivation of sugarcane on 4,345 hectares (ha).
• The construction of a sugar mill and refinery with a processing capacity of 3,500 tons of sugarcane per day, expandable to 5,000 TCD
• The construction of a 12 megawatt (MW) cogeneration plant using the sugar mill's bagasse
• The implementation of various community development initiatives, including an outgrower program based on a fair trade benefit sharing agreement.
